this is my to-do list for the rest of this year. sort of in order.

• hire 2 paid interns for solaris. lilo and i took 2 months off from any expansion projects for the business. the summer was great in terms of beefing up our cash reserves and providing a learning experience but we are going to stay away from the commitment and stress of a full time employee.
• set+follow financial strategy as prep for moving to philly. following a budget is a tough task for us but we are completely set on moving to philly in the spring so we know we have to get over this hump and straighten ourselves up.
• buy a treadmill. super easy. find a place to put it in the house? not so easy. use it regularly? hard but determined.
• have a nice holiday season. thanksgiving i am cooking a small feast for lilo my mother and i. i am really going to enjoy cooking and watching the parade, playing board games, going to the movies. i don’t really know how but going to the movies has become a turkey day tradition. christmas is in 4 (possibly 5) parts. part one is the mid december christmas party we are hosting. small gathering. complete control over food, drinks and entertainment. my inner martha stewart is giddy just thinking about it. part 2 is shopping. lilo and i already agreed to buy 2 bankers boxes from staples, set a $100 each budget and fill a box for the other with awesomeness. i decided to give everyone gifts of food. deconstructed dry mixes of soup and baked goods. gourmet stuffs. all the shopping will be done in a weekend cause i am not going to go nuts with the crazy bargain bitches. part 3 is the trip lilo and i are taking for the 3-4 days before the day before christmas. lol. we are renting a car and just taking off. part 4 is probably going to be christmas with her family on the eve or morning. and part 5 is our quiet christmas day dinner for 2.
• not take on too much. this includes swapbot mostly. i am sticking to easy stuff and staying way ahead of due dates.
• websites. i still haven’t launched pretty pumpkin so that is the main goal. i also think i may be looking to switch websites for evey in orbit, or at least restructure it. i was thinking of categorizing art/photos/crafts by mood or color or theme. also i need to edit some stuff out. like 40%.
• school. i decided to apply to lilo’s school so i am starting in winter. i have to mentally get geared up for this so it goes on the list.
• tie up loose ends.
